Return & Refund Policy

Overview

JT's Shock Oil is a small U.S.-based business. We stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order.

Return Eligibility

We accept returns under the following conditions:

• The item was received damaged or defective (e.g., leaking bottle, incorrect viscosity shipped).
• The item was not as described on the product listing.
• The return request is made within 14 days of the confirmed delivery date.

We do not accept returns for:

• Opened or used bottles (for hygiene and product integrity reasons).
• Orders where the customer selected the wrong viscosity.
• Change-of-mind returns after the order has shipped.
• Tuning Club subscription charges once a shipment has been prepared and dispatched.

How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, email us at [email protected] with:

• Your order number
• A description of the issue
• Photos of the item and packaging (required for damaged or defective claims)

We will respond within 2–3 business days with instructions. Do not ship items back without prior authorization — unauthorized returns may not be accepted.

Refunds

If your return is approved, we will issue a refund to your original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. Stripe processing times may add additional days before the credit appears on your statement.

For damaged or defective items where return shipping is impractical, we may offer a replacement shipment or a partial/full refund at our discretion without requiring the item to be returned.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product).

Return Shipping Costs

If a return is approved due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we will provide a prepaid return shipping label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.

For all other approved returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.

Tuning Club Subscriptions

Tuning Club subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

If a monthly shipment arrives damaged or contains an incorrect item, the same return/replacement process above applies — contact us within 14 days of delivery.

Subscriptions automatically complete after 7 months with no further charges.
