Supplemental Terms & Tuning Club Terms

Relationship to the Main Terms of Use

These Supplemental Terms apply in addition to the JT's Shock Oil Terms of Use. If there is a conflict between the main Terms of Use and these Supplemental Terms regarding the JT's Tuning Club subscription or any JT's-specific product terms described here, these Supplemental Terms govern that specific subject to the extent permitted by applicable law. All other provisions of the main Terms of Use remain in full effect.

By purchasing JT's Shock Oil products or subscribing to the JT's Tuning Club, you agree to both the main Terms of Use and these Supplemental Terms.

Product Use & Viscosity Selection

JT's Shock Oil products are silicone-based shock oils intended for use in RC (radio-controlled) vehicle shock absorbers and dampers. They are not intended for any other use.

Viscosity selection is your responsibility. Choosing the appropriate viscosity for your specific vehicle, shock design, suspension geometry, terrain, and intended use requires knowledge of your own setup. JT's Shock Oil offers 14 viscosity options ranging from 350 cSt to 1000 cSt to accommodate a wide range of RC applications.

JT's Shock Oil provides tuning guides, viscosity recommendations, and setup tips as general guidance to help you make an informed choice. This guidance is based on common RC setups and general tuning principles. It does not constitute a guarantee that any particular viscosity or tuning recommendation will produce a specific handling characteristic, speed, durability, or performance result for your vehicle. Suspension performance depends on many factors outside our control, including vehicle design, component condition, driving style, and track or terrain conditions.

By purchasing JT's Shock Oil products, you acknowledge that you are responsible for confirming compatibility with your vehicle's shocks, seals, O-rings, and other components, and for any outcomes resulting from your viscosity selection and vehicle setup.

JT's Tuning Club — Subscription Overview

The JT's Tuning Club is a 7-month recurring subscription. Each month, subscribers receive two full-size 4 oz bottles of JT's Shock Oil following the viscosity progression selected at signup.

At signup, customers choose one of two progressions:

• Light-to-Heavy — begins at lower viscosities and progresses upward over 7 months.
• Heavy-to-Light — begins at higher viscosities and progresses downward over 7 months.

The progression cannot be changed after the subscription is created.

Pricing, Shipping & Billing

Monthly product charge: $17.99 per month.

Shipping: Shipping is not included in the $17.99 monthly charge. The applicable shipping amount is calculated using the shipping address provided at the time the subscription is created. That shipping amount is then locked in for the full 7-month duration of the subscription and is charged each month as a separate line item alongside the $17.99 product charge.

Both the $17.99 product charge and the locked shipping amount will appear on the customer's Stripe receipt or invoice each month.

Automatic billing: The subscription bills automatically each month on the customer's billing date. The subscription ends automatically after the 7th successful payment. No 8th monthly charge will be generated. No further action is required from the customer to end the subscription at the conclusion of the 7-month term.

Failed Payments

If a monthly payment fails, that month's shipment will not be fulfilled and the customer's viscosity progression will not advance until payment is successfully collected. JT's Shock Oil will attempt to notify the customer of the failed payment. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their payment method remains valid and up to date.

Shipping Address Changes

Because the monthly shipping amount is established from the shipping address provided at signup and locked for the subscription term, customers who need to change their shipping address during an active Tuning Club subscription should contact JT's Shock Oil at [email protected] before their next billing or shipping date.

Address changes during an active subscription may require review, as a different destination can affect the shipping cost. JT's Shock Oil will work with the customer to process an approved address and shipping change. Simply updating an address in the account dashboard does not automatically update the locked shipping amount for the subscription.

Cancellation

Customers may cancel their Tuning Club subscription at any time from their account dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing but does not entitle the customer to a refund for the current billing period or any shipment already prepared or dispatched.
